What is an OID?

OID (Object Identifier) is a number that identifies uniquely a node in the HP Product hierarchy.
Each node of the HP product hierarchy has a unique OID.
This information is used across the HP systems managing and publishing the product content.
How to get the OID?
After selecting a node of the hierarchy, you can easily find the OID number of this node as it is included in the URL.
The OID number is also displayed on the top of the content list for: Messaging, TechSpecs, Documents and Images.E.g. https://pcb.itcs.hp.com/webapp/#/de-de/contents/ 12616704 ?type=T&hierarchy=Q&status=L&status=O
