What is a Product Hierarchy in PCB

The PCB Product Hierarchy is based on the official HP Product hierarchy used in HP.
The information stored in the product hierarchy is used across the HP systems managing and publishing the product content.

In PCB, you can find two types of hierarchies: Full Hierarchy and Quick Hierarchy.

The Full Hierarchy corresponds to the HP Official Product Hierarchy containing 7 levels:

1. Product Type

2. Category

3. Sub Category

4. Big Series

5. Small Series

6. Model

7. Product

The Quick Hierarchy is based on the Full Hierarchy out of which we display only 3 levels:

1. Product Type

2. Category

3. Sub Category

4. Big Series

5. Small Series

6. Model

7. Product

We recommend you to use the Quick Hierarchy as most of the product information content is available at these levels (product levels).

You can switch between Full Hierarchy and Quick Hierarchy by clicking the corresponding button.
